ISO 9000 – a tool for reaching competitiveness of company’s products

       A company’s competitiveness in the global markets can be achieved only if the producers satisfy customers’ requirements with respect to price-related and non-price-related factors, of which quality is the main one.

       Basic principles, techniques, criteria and their interaction during production work, which if they are fulfilled will completely satisfy consumer requirements form the basis of the International Standard Series ISO 9000, which has been passed in more than 90 countries by 2000.

       Entering global markets is now impossible for a company if it fails to show that the company’s product quality maintenance system corresponds to ISO 9000.

       This is why the BDCP product quality control system passed the international certification on correspondence with ISO 9001 in 2003.

       ISO 9001 applies to food producers, who manufacture and modify existing products, develop new ones, as well as construct and implement new production systems.

       The BDCP quality maintenance system was certified by the international non-governmental independent organization - For Bureua Veritas Quality International, which has subdivisions situated in Great Britain, Netherlands, and the USA.

       These international organizations have confirmed (-by certificate #134391, July 18, 2003) that the product quality management system of Balta Dairy-Canning Plant corresponds to the ISO 9000 series of standards of the international system.
