Balta Dairy Plant is provided with modern highly-productive equipment, modern control and monitoring facilities to manufacture products by using the following processes:
Production and packing of dried whole and skimmed milk as well as dried milk mixtures by using spray drying. The process involves the following stages:
o reception, storage and processing of milk; o separation and pasteurization of milk; o adding solutions of necessary ingredients as well as citric acid; o production of the mixture of corn oil, coco-nut oil, mixing with skimmed-milk lactose fed from the solubilization system;
o adding aqueous solutions of vitamins (A, D, E), folic acid, sodium bicarbonate, ascorbic acid, potassium nitrate, iron sulfate; o high-temperature pasteurization, condensation in vacuum evaporation units, drying in tower driers provided with high-pressure injectors; o packing in an aceptic medium in multilayer paper bags with a polyethylene insert or in a metallized film, sealing, placing in cartons, glueing, marking and placing in boxes and pallets, labelling, placing in a warehouse.
Production of butter with various humidity and fat contents by using continuous whipping of cream, packing in metal paper (Eurobriquettes of 100 and 200 g) or in glassine paper.
Production, bottling and packing of fruit and vegetable juices, milk and milky drinks with various fat contents and long storage life by using Tetra-Pack process. High-temperature sterilization and dispersion make it possible to destroy all harmful bacteria with preservation of vitamins and nutrients, to preserve perfectly well natural taste and smell of milk. A pasteboard packing with a special protective coating makes it possible to extend essentially storage life, and an airtight cover provides for the best conveniences to a consumer.
Production of pasteurized milk and sour cream, sour-milk products (kefir, ryazhenka, sour cream) with various humidity and fat contents by using reservoir and thermostatic methods, bottling and packing thereof. The products are packed in a sterile environment in cartons according to EloPack process, in a polyethylene film, polystyrene cups of various forms and capacity with an airtight cover / metal paper.
Production and packing of dried products with other powdery granular products (castor sugar, coffee, cocoa, and others) by dry mixing. These products are packed in aceptic conditions in a film or in metallized-film packets and placed in cartons.
Production, bottling and packing of water for children's products. Water purifying process involves the following stages:
course purification of water by feeding from deep artesian wells to sand-and-gravel and coal filters;
softening in a cation duplex unit;
fine purification in a filter with filtration limit of 5 mm;
purification of water in a back osmosis module.
On having been purified mechanically, balanced in solt content and decontaminated by using ultraviolet disbacterizing unit, water is fed to the bottling line through an accumulating vessel provided with an air disbacterizing unit. Here, water is bottled in aceptic conditions in pasteboard packets with a special coating to protect from ultraviolet radiation.
The production process is monitored by using modern quality index measuring and control facilities that provide for an efficient control of physical and chemical parameters of both raw milk and processed milk products at all production stages, and also of the final product.
The final product is provided with a Quality Certificate and Certificate of compliance with all parameters specified by world quality standards.
