DETOLACT

       "DETOLACT" is a milk formula, a human milk substitute, which is very close to mother’s milk due to an optimum proportion of its basic components: proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.

       The formula is meant for nursing healthy full-term newborns and sick babies who don’t require a special diet.

       It can be also used in addition to breast-feeding when mother is short of milk.

       This substitute supplies baby’s organism with all the mineral substances and vitamins it needs.

       The mixture is easily prepared and does not require boiling.

The main characteristics are the following:
  • The protein component of the substitute has a balanced aminoacid composition. It is mainly presented by casein, that has passed a complex curing process, due to which its allergenic properties are reduced while its assimilability is increased.
  • Fats are represented by vegetable oils only - coconut and corn (60:40).

       "DETOLACT" contains lactose – a basic carbohydrate of breast milk, which contributes to better assimilation of mineral substances, and growth of normal microflora of the intestines.


   An independent laboratory test of DETOLACT dry milk mixture has been made on the initiative of DOCTORS: WITHOUT BORDERS International Public Organization in the Netherlands. As stated in the Conclusion drawn by "SGS Laboratory Services. A division of SGS Redwood Nederland B.V.", quality indices of DETOLACT comply with effective European standards. On this basis DETOLACT was declared the best of imported and home specimens of dry milk mixtures for nutrition of children provided for test and present in the market of Ukraine. Then the representatives of DOCTORS: WITHOUT BORDERS visited Balta Dairy Plant, familiarized themselves with production conditions and made a decision to purchase DETOLACT regularly to feed children born from HIV-infected parents.
